Trivia Night
Prove your random knowledge is worth something
Classic pub-style trivia adapted for campus. Teams compete across themed rounds (pop culture, campus facts, sports, science, etc.). Easy to run, always popular, great for recurring events.
What You Need
Step-by-Step Guide
Write the Questions
5-6 rounds of 8-10 questions each. Mix difficulty. Include picture rounds, audio rounds, and campus-specific questions. Use ChatGPT to help generate but add personal flair.
Book a Venue
Student union rooms, campus bars (if 21+), lecture halls, or outdoor spaces with a screen. Need tables for teams to huddle around.
Form Teams On-Site
Let people form teams of 3-6 when they arrive. Have a fun team name submission process. Read out the names for laughs.
Run the Rounds
Read questions aloud and display on screen. Give 30-60 seconds per question. Collect answer sheets between rounds. Play music during scoring breaks.
Announce Winners
Build suspense. Read scores from lowest to highest. Award prizes to top 3. Take a winners photo.
Promotion Tips

- •Great for partnerships with campus food spots (host there)
Content Capture Tips
Film team deliberations, dramatic answer reveals, and celebration moments. The 'we got it right!' reactions are gold. Also capture funny wrong answers if teams are willing to share.
